Because this amused me.
Edit: Oh shit, I'm 21 now. Fun fact, the Boston Massacre also happened on March 5th. 243 years ago.

That's just. Random.
Yup, but that's Mario Party in a nutshell.
So that's why I wasn't getting it. :P
I'm sorry to hear that, the old Mario Party games were the shit.
Will have to play them sometime. How old games are we talking about tho?
I don't know if it'd be quite as fun when you're not a kid at first, because a lot of the game is just luck-based, but it'd be worth a shot, I think. The first 3 (which were the best if you ask me) were on the Nintendo 64, so they were around the late 90's to early 2000's.
Ah, will keep a lookout for them. Still have an N64 lying around, somewhere, I think... the only games I played on it were pretty much Doom & Goldeneye back then.
To be fair, Doom and Goldeneye were fun, too. The N64 had a pretty nice selection, but I have to admit that overall, the SNES still has my heart.
That's fair. :) I have yet to find a 007 game of the same caliber as Goldeneye, as for Doom the PC version was much better, but I've played it on pretty much all consoles. Not the PSx though... yet. SNES was a bit before my time. Actually I probably started playing a bit late, probably missed all the real classics.
Oh man, stuff like Super Mario World, the Donkey Kong Country series, LoZ: A Link to the Past, Super Mario RPG, the list goes on. I probably started out either on the SNES or the NES. The SNES was probably the newest system when I first got into gaming, but my parents were fairly big on NES games at one point, so we had them, too. It might just be nostalgia, but the SNES was an amazing system, if you ask me.
Really though, pretty much every system has its own gems.
Played through Super Mario World plenty of times on GBC. :) Also Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Land 1, 2 & 3. Two Zelda games I don't remember the names of. Pokemon... sounds like similar nostalgia then, just portable probably ported versions. :)
That's what it sounds like.
As for xbox, I got into the 360, but I never really played many original Xbox games. Mainly stuff like Rock Band, Saints Row, Left 4 Dead, Dragon Age, etc. Honestly, now that I've built a pretty decent PC, the main game that the 360 is for these days is Rock Band, since I pretty much enjoy the PC version of everything else more. Otherwise, I mainly enjoy the classics.
Yeah, was thinking of gems for the original XBox though, wondering if there were any. It seems like a lost cause. Didn't like the original version at all, but the 360 is completely different. Nowadays all the good games seem to be ported to all the major consoles though, only a few series like SMB stay true to their trademark. :) Is Saints Row better than/comparable to GTA?
Honestly, it depends. I liked Saints Row 2 the most out of the series, but it's more about being silly. I like both SR and GTA, but which I want to play depends on my mood. Saints Row started out as kind of a GTA clone, but it's been branching out to be it's own game, and is certainly fun to play in it's own right.
It makes me sad you never played the original Xbox, aside from Fable.
I need to lend you KOTOR.
But I played it on PC.
Which makes it less awesome.
Because you touch yourself in the shower.
Only to wash myself.
how you been?
Pretty good, just getting through class, and feeling old. I turn 21 next Tuesday. How about you?
Im bored, but im doing fine otherwise.
21? I bet you are excited!
Well, that's good.
I have to admit, it's kind of exciting, but not as much as you'd really think.
So much benefits though
True. For example, I'll be old enough to get alcohol, but it wasn't really a big deal to begin with. I used to have wine on New Years with my family when I was younger, an occasional beer with pizza, etc. I've always preferred it in moderation, so it isn't exactly like "omg get drunk looooool"
I understand what you mean, like "just because you can drink doesnt mean you should over do it" kinda thing.
Yeah, there's nothing wrong with enjoying a good drink or two, but getting wasted isn't really my thing. I guess I'll have a boring 21st birthday, lol.
Well if you think like that you will! You have to be positive!
Hah, it's really not a big deal, I feel like birthdays start feeling like normal days more than anything by the time you hit 16-17, if not sooner.
Happy birthday, sexybutts
Happy Belated Birthday!!!
Thanks! It wasn't the most exciting day in the world, but that's just how birthdays are once you get old, I guess.
